Security Deposit

SECURITY DEPOSIT

  • All watercrafts are subject to a security deposit.

  • Deposits are based on the category of the boat, the higher priced boat, the higher security deposit. Please check each boat for the security deposit amount.

  • Your deposit will be refunded if there is no damage, with the gas used deducted.

  • Your deposit will only be refunded if your watercraft and all the equipment we provided are returned in the same condition.

  • Deposits are NOT refunded on the same day as the rental. All watercrafts are inspected upon return to the dock and refunds are processed the next business day, if applicable.

  • This charge doesn’t apply to damages on boats that have occurred that BRBR does not own in case of gross negligence.

  • Our belongings and equipment must be returned to us at the end of your rental period, including, but not limited to, ALL life vests, life jackets, dock lines, accessory ropes, ALL SunChill accessories, tubes, all boards, All Safety equipment, all phone cards, bungee cords, fenders, etc.

The following list includes but is not limited to, the possible ways your deposit may be forfeited. A portion or all of your security deposit will NOT be refunded if any of the following are present when the watercraft is returned:

  • PROPELLER DAMAGE

  • INBOARD/OUTDRIVE DAMAGE

  • BIMINI TOP DAMAGE

  • BENT OR DAMAGED LADDERS

  • DAMAGE TO TOW BAR (TOW BAR MAX CAPACITY 500 LBS OR 2 PERSONS)

  • DAMAGE TO BOAT INTERIOR FLOORING, SEATING, ETC.

  • LOSS OF ITEMS: TOWABLES, ANCHORS, BUMPERS, ROPES, LIFE VESTS, GPS UNITS

  • EXCESSIVE DIRT, GARBAGE, OR SPILLS INSIDE THE BOAT

  • IF YOU HAVE BEACHED THE BOAT

  • EVIDENCE OF RECKLESS OPERATION

  • BOAT NOT RETURNED BY THE RETURN TIME LISTED ON THE CONTRACT

Losing your rental deposit does not release you from responsibility for the cost of damages incurred to your rental.

PERSONAL WATERCRAFT (PWC) DEPOSIT

  • All PWCs are subject to a $500 security deposit.

  • Your deposit will only be refunded if your PWC is returned in the same condition it left.

  • Deposits are NOT refunded on the same day as the rental. If applicable, all PWCs are inspected upon return to the dock, and refunds are processed the following business day.

The following list includes but is not limited to, the possible ways your deposit may be forfeited. Your security deposit will NOT be refunded if any of the following are present when the PWC is returned:

  • IMPELLER DAMAGE

  • ROPE IN THE IMPELLER

  • THE PWC HAS BEEN ROLLED OVER

  • THE PWC HAS INGESTED WATER IN THE ENGINE

  • HULL DAMAGE

  • EVIDENCE OF RECKLESS OPERATION

  • HAS BEEN TOWING ANY WATER SPORTS (TUBES AND SKIS)

  • IF YOU HAVE BEACHED THE PWC

  • EVIDENCE THAT THE PWC HAS BEEN TOWED OR USED TO TOW ANOTHER WATER VEHICLE

  • PWC NOT RETURNED BY THE RETURN TIME LISTED ON THE CONTRACT

BOAT OR PWC RESCUE

If you have any issues with proper operation of your rental, please call us immediately.  To prevent damage to your rental DO NOT attempt to tow or be towed back to the docks unless authorized by BRBR. We will make every effort to remedy the issue so that you can enjoy your time on the lake. You are responsible for watching your gas gauge. If we do have to bring gas to you, there will be a nominal fee. If you have mechanical issues with the boat/PWC, we will gladly assist you.

Protection

Protect your rental from an unforeseen accident. Accidents happen, and we understand that! Protect yourself from additional charges. This rental protection covers; lost buoys, anchors, docklines, ropes, first aid kits, paddles, throwables, or phone cords. This protection also covers damage to any accessories such as, tubes, waterskis, wakeboards, wake surf boards, kneeboards, or lily pads, also any accessory ropes included with the towable. You are able to add this protection at checkout when booking online.
This protection does not include damages to the watercraft itself! Each rental will be subject to a rental security allowance that will be held on the card for the duration of the rental. For more in depth information about our rental security deposit, please see your waiver.

PETS

We are a dog loving family! You may see our dogs here during your day!

With that being said, we do value the quality and condition of all of our water-crafts and want them to remain in great condition. We do have a 2 pet limit per boat, please remember they add to your weight limit on the water-crafts. We ask that the water-craft must return in the same condition that it left in. Pleas ebe curtious and lay down towels on the seats if you allow your pets on them.

If, the water-craft returns with an excessive amount of the following; pet hair, dirt, clay, sticks, paw prints, seat tears/rips, seams ripped, carpet ripped, etc. detailing fees will apply.

Detailing is $20 a foot based on the watercraft you rent. (24 ft x $20= $480) Please be respectful of this policy.
